There have been some rumours going around that PSP owners will be able to import their current collection of games to their PlayStation Vita. This has now been confirmed true as Sony announced the UMD Passportprogram. The process, however, will not be free.

The steps in downloading your PSP games isn’t very tedious either. They are as follows (courtesy of Andriasang):

With the PS Vita launch in Japan a success, Sony has announced just what games will be available on launch day for those in North America. Games will retail for somewhere between $9.99-$49.99, with some of those being downloadable titles that can be purchased on the Playstation Network, while others will be regular disk based titles available wherever you purchase your games.

News: SKFU FW 1.52 Status Confirmed

Developer SKFU has taken the leap and updated his PS Vita to the latest firmware 1.52. Many are anticipating a firmware update that will block the recent exploits/findings achieved by Teck4, Wololo & SKFU. SKFU has confirmed that it is safe to update your PS Vita to 1.52 since all exploits are still functioning.

To Quote:
Ok guys we tested the possibilities on firmware 1.52 for a few days now. What I can confirm is the following:

Tech4's exploit still works
Wololo's HBL still works
everything I research atm didn't change from 1.50 to 1.52
If that is fine for you, there's no reason not to update.
